“Megan Kuhar is a vibrant, forward-thinking leader and a goldmine resource for musicians looking to enhance their branding, online presence, and social media skills.
She offers unique insight into audience reach, and asks the right probing questions to get musicians digging deeper into their authentic brand/self-representation. Kuhar walks the walk, has a strong background in music tech and integrative marketing, and the resources she offers are extremely helpful for the modern musician of today.”

I had this very niche musical project focusing on piano arrangements of classic Nintendo soundtracks. I needed some advice and direction on how to implement. I sought out Megan’s help as she understands the nuance of marketing for musicians and not coming off as too sales-y.
She listened to me and understood my goals, helped create a plan to promote the music which involved social media accounts, a website, and a successful Patreon page. She also helped solidify a name and logo for the project.
A year and a half in and I’ve performed for music festivals, comic cons, private events, have made YouTube videos and have more shows and recordings in the works! This project might still be sitting dormant in the back of my mind if it wasn’t for the guidance and advice I got from Megan to get it moving!

“In the spring of 2014, I returned to college—thirty plus years after I originally started. My husband and I had three adult-children in college at the time and my return was both exciting and scary. Megan Poletti [Kuhar] was the name of my first college professor. She was young, smart and unintimidated.
On the first day of class, Megan let us know from the start what was expected, acceptable and achievable. Her standards were high and she did not accept any excuses. Being the type of person I am, I liked that. I don’t think it was happenstance that she was my first teacher; she was who I needed. She patiently answered my many questions, helped me through moments of incredible frustration, boosted my confidence and celebrated my accomplishments.
Megan still celebrates me and makes herself available. Honestly, it’s comforting to know she’s in my corner. Through our interactions, I’ve witnessed her knowledge, creativity, care and passion for the recording arts field and for her students. Her unselfish example and investment inspired me and contributed to my senior project titled, Becoming an Excellent Educator.
I earned my AAS in 2017 and went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree with double minors in audio recording and music technology in 2019. I am 57 now and I hope to follow Megan’s example as an educator, a learner and professional. She is solid, reliable and good at what she does—a worthwhile connection and investment. I speak from personal experience.”

“Knowing that I had the support and expertise of Megan Kuhar gave me the confidence I needed to incorporate website creation into my curriculum for pre-service teachers.
She provided technological guidance, design ideas, and professional considerations for what turned out to be fantastic, user-friendly, content-rich sites. These projects are now standard practice in my curriculum, largely because I can focus on evaluating the content knowing the students are supported technologically by Megan.
The students see immediate results, and when they are professionals in the field, they have the expertise to create a professional web presence for themselves and their music education programs.”
Jordan Saul, music educator
“Megan's expertise is invaluable to young artists who are starting out. So much of our early training deals with creating art, but not ways to brand one's business, make our art marketable, or navigate the ever-changing world of technology to put ourselves out there in a way that can become financially successful.
With her help my students (and myself) have been able to redefine our own personal brands, create websites, and are moving through the world in a more confident way, creating both art and business opportunities.”
Laura Berg, actor & educator
“If an artist creates something amazing in the woods and no one is around to witness it, does it make a sound? No. No it does not.
Megan Kuhar has been instrumental in letting the world know about my work. She created the perfect website to trumpet my writing: first consulting with me to determine my needs, then creating the perfect site that captures my voice, and finally being über-responsive to my desperate cries of, ‘Wait! Help me put this on there too!’
Her digital content skills saved me in a different realm when I needed to record an audiobook version of my memoir. She supportively sat beside recording my every word (and every gaffe) and delivered a final product that I truly feel is better than the physical copy of my book. Although it is a joy to have my words in print, I treasure that I have such an incredible audiobook to accompany the pages.”
